To support a professional and consistent audition and review process, WIAF uses a third-party submission platform also used by multiple universities for auditions and application submissions.
A separate platform service fee may apply and will be displayed according to the platform’s published terms.
Please review your personal information and uploaded materials carefully before submitting. Incomplete, inaccurate, or invalid submissions may require correction or resubmission. Any additional resubmission fee, if applicable, will be governed by the platform’s published terms.

Annual Production Audition
Bring Your Artistic Work to the WIAF Stage.
The WIAF Annual Production is a curated, multidisciplinary performance that brings selected artistic works together in a cohesive production.
Participating groups are considered through an audition and artistic review process. Selected works may then take part in artistic development, co-creation, coordinated rehearsals, and the final performance.

Application Type: Group Submission Only
Audition Period: November 9, 2026 – April 15, 2027
Individual applications are not accepted for the Annual Production. Individual performers interested in participating should contact an arts organization or performance group.

Capital Talent Awards Preliminary
Discover Talent. Celebrate Achievement.
The Capital Talent Awards recognizes young performers through an online Preliminary round and a live Final in Washington, D.C.
Applicants should review the competition categories, eligibility requirements, submission guidelines, and judging criteria before beginning registration.
Preliminary Round Information
Format: Online
Registration Period: November 9, 2026 – April 30, 2027
Applicants will submit their required materials through the official application platform.
Finalists will be notified by email and will receive a Final Invitation Letter before May 15, 2027.
